About the Artist
Alex Zinoviev (born May 30, 1999, in Ukraine) is a contemporary Ukrainian-born artist working in mural painting, easel painting, and original calligraphy. He showed a strong interest in art from an early age and grew up in a creative family. His father is an artist who had a major influence on the development of his artistic vision and professional path.
He received a classical art education, graduating from college as a painter. He later continued his studies at Zaporizhzhia National University, graduating from the Department of Design with a degree in graphic design.
For more than ten years, Alex has been developing his own direction within calligraffiti—a fusion of calligraphy, graphic art, and urban aesthetics. Alex Zinoviev specializes in mural and easel painting, street art, and body art. His work combines dynamic line, expressive form, and a contemporary visual language to create distinctive compositions for interiors and exhibition spaces.
His work has been exhibited in several countries and is held in private collections across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and North America.
Today, Alex Zinoviev continues to work actively and experiment with materials and scale, creating works that unite an academic foundation, design thinking, and the free energy of contemporary art.
